Lech Bike Festival
Szklarska Poreba, Poland /
August 2010
Lech Bike Festival, or “everything that two-wheel enthusiasts could ever wish for served in one weekend,” is the biggest event of this type in Poland. And since we’re talking about round objects, no wonder that Freedomes F150 spherical tent was the perfect solution to add splendour to the occasion and the accompanying events.
Lech Bike Festival is the fourteenth edition of the event which annually gathers bike enthusiasts from all over Poland and thousands of hours of not only good fun but also chances to check one’s skills even in extreme events. It’s also a great opportunity to meet people for whom a bike is something more than just a means of communication between points A and B, and the fact that the event is bigger every year shows that there are more than a few of them.
Szklarska Poręba’s landscape, just as the Freedome F150 event dome, were for a couple of days the background for such attractions as the Downhill competition, the Bicycle Film Festival, the Dart Dirt Jam, the Bunny Hop contest, a competition for the youngest – the Scott Junior Trophy powered by Milka, the X Karkonosze Bungee Jumping Championships, and an absolute hit which no doubt was the Night Air Water Bike Show.
The LECH tent set up at the event (the aforementioned F150 sphere tent) definitely confirmed that two-wheel lovers like everything that’s round.
