Ice Sculpture Exhibition

In December 2011, right in the middle of the town square in Rybnik and inside one of our event domes, ice was brought to life before the eyes of the people gathered. The current World Championship runners-up in sculpting in ice - the Ice Team from Poznan - organized a live ice sculpting show turning plain blocks of ice into works of art.
It must be quite an experience to witness a huge rectangular block turn into a sparkling horse with an impressive transparent carriage.
Next to the igloo - because that was the new name given to the classic Freedome 30 event dome - you could admire such impressive exhibits as reindeers made of ice, accompanied by a huge frozen christmas tree. Our geodesic structure was a perfect fit into the whole theme of the event, especially because the name "igloo" or "snowball" is such a perfect fit.
