Hyundai Fan Parks EURO 2012
Madrid, Berlin, Moscow, Prague, Paris /
June-July 2012
Although the 2012 edition of the European Football Championship (EURO 2012) took place in their homeland, the Freedome 30’s decided to check out the football madness throughout Europe.
All this thanks to Hyundai, one of the official sponsors, who decided to organize fan zones known as Hyundai Fan Parks in major capitols of Europe.
Our event domes where in Madrid next to the Santiago Bernabeu stadium (home to Ream Madrid), at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow, in the heart of Prague’s Old Town, right underneath the Eiffel Tower in Paris and blocking the famous Straße des 17. Juni in Berlin.
For Hyundai the spirit of the fan zone was the highest priority. In order to create an atmosphere just like the one on the stadiums in Poland and Ukraine, Hyundai decided to use our experience and our event domes. The Freedomes structures fit in perfectly with branding in the shape of a football.
Thanks to this our domes transformed into large footballs not only filled with fun and facts about Hyundai, but also with Samsung electronics, offering each football lover a photo with stars like Iker Cassilas or Lukasz Podolski.
Each of the event domes spent a month in its designated location. Thanks to the premium floor system and the high quality of the membranes, even the large number of visitors did not affect the condition of the domes and by the time of the finals they looked just like new.
