WOPR Exhibition
Trzesacz, Poland /
August 2008
Although the beginnings of the Voluntary Water Rescue Team (WOPR) on the Polish coast were really difficult – no permanent rescue bases, clapped out boats or metal buoys that were actually barrels – WOPR lifeguards are (as they say themselves) “real tough guys,” and thanks to their persistence and hard work they created a base and infrastructure to be envied.
Fast motorboats, off-road vehicles, professional means of communication, pneumatic buoys, modern patrol boats – these are now standard equipment.
Having considered that the vast majority of the society doesn’t even know about it, for the needs of presenting WOPR lifeguards’ skills Freedomes delivered a Freedome 30 sphere tent to the beach in Trzęsacz.
